According to Sandzhiev, the epidemic situation of influenza and SARS has worsened in the region.

He said that from November 21 to November 27 in Elista, the incidence of acute respiratory viral infections among children aged 7-14 years increased by 1.7 times compared to the previous week. 

“In connection with the threat of the spread of influenza and SARS in Elista, restrictive measures have been introduced since November 29,” Sandzhiev said.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor reported that the epidemic process for coronavirus, influenza and other acute respiratory viral infections (ARVI) has intensified in Russia.
