Polish Prime Minister Morawiecki called on the EU to abandon oil from Russia "as soon as possible"

According to him, the issue of abandoning oil from Russia is the subject of discussions within the EU.

“We, as one of the main organizers, if not the main organizer of many sanctions packages, are in favor of “turning off” Russian oil as soon as possible,” RIA Novosti quotes Moravetsky.

Earlier, Bloomberg reported that the European Union proposed a 45-day transition period after the announcement of a ceiling on Russian oil prices on December 5.

The press secretary of the Russian leader, Dmitry Peskov, said that Russia would proceed from the statement of President Vladimir Putin that Moscow would not trade oil, oil products and gas with countries that would introduce a price ceiling.
