The press conference for the manned mission of Shenzhou 15 was held at Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center at 9 o'clock today (November 28) to report on the mission.

Ji Qiming, spokesman for China's manned space program and assistant director of China's manned space program office, said that China's manned space exploration will not only stay in low-Earth orbit, but will definitely fly farther and more stably.

The moon is an ideal base and outpost for human beings to expand, develop and utilize extraterrestrial space, and lunar exploration has always been the focus and focus of manned spaceflight development in the world today.

  Ji Qiming said that in accordance with the development strategy approved by the Chinese government, we have completed the in-depth demonstration of manned lunar exploration, key technology breakthroughs and programs.

Through the previous stage of work, breakthroughs have been made in key technologies such as a new generation of manned spacecraft, a new generation of manned launch vehicles, lunar landers, and lunar landing suits, and an implementation plan for manned moon landing missions with Chinese characteristics has been formed.

These works have laid a solid foundation for the manned lunar exploration project. We already have the conditions to carry out the project. I believe that the dream of the Chinese people to reach the moon in nine days will become a reality in the not-too-distant future.
