Regarding the export of shells by Korean companies to the United States, the Ministry of National Defense has repeatedly stated that it is negotiating on the premise that the end user is the United States.

At a regular briefing today (28th), Deputy Spokesman Moon Hong-sik answered a question about a foreign press report saying, "The US is supporting Ukraine with artillery shells imported from Korea." There is no change in the premise of doing it.”

Deputy Spokesperson Moon Hong-sik reiterated that "there is no change in the position I have stated before."

Deputy Spokesman Moon Hong-sik added, "Foreign media quoted US officials and reported anonymously.

Previously, CNN reported, citing an unnamed Pentagon official, that the US plans to purchase 100,000 shells from South Korea to supply to Ukraine.
