Regarding the Liberal Democratic Party candidate accompanying the ``10 increase and 10 decrease'' in the single-seat constituency of the House of Representatives, Secretary-General Motegi indicated that he would proceed with adjustments so that it can be decided by next spring's unified local elections.

In order to correct the so-called one-vote disparity, the new division of the House of Representatives, which will increase the number of single-seat constituencies by 10, will be applied from the 28th of next month onwards.

At the board meeting on the 28th, the Liberal Democratic Party confirmed its policy to decide candidates for new single-seat constituencies in the target 15 prefectures after adjusting local organizations.

Next month, Secretary-General Motegi and Election Committee Chairman Moriyama will explain the basic policy and exchange opinions with executives of related local organizations.

After the board meeting, Mr. Motegi said at a press conference, "In order to prepare for the unified local elections next spring, it is desirable that candidates from all over the country have been decided before the elections, and we are proceeding with coordination. I want to continue."
