In his appeal, the political scientist noted that citizens undergoing inpatient treatment have a regular need for essential goods, personal hygiene products and other products.

At the same time, such citizens may not always have relatives who have the opportunity to bring and transfer these products, and the regime of stay in medical organizations, as a rule, does not allow patients to leave the institution, Orlov noted.

“In this regard, I ask you to consider the possibility of creating points of sale in medical institutions for essential goods without including value added in the sales price (exempt from VAT),” the text of the appeal says.

Earlier, the State Duma proposed to provide free conditions in the hospital for parents with children under seven years old.
