This was stated by President Katalin Novak during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, as well as with the heads of government of Belgium, Lithuania and Poland, held in Kyiv.

“Today I am proud to announce that Hungary has committed itself (to purchase from Ukraine) 10 thousand tons of grain for $3.5 million as part of the announced program,” RIA Novosti quotes her. 

On November 18, the Hungarian authorities announced their readiness to allocate up to €150 million to Ukraine as part of assistance next year.

Novak visited Kyiv at the invitation of Zelensky.

She also visited the Transcarpathian region.
