“Tomorrow, a trilateral meeting with the foreign ministers of Sweden and Finland will take place in Bucharest,” NTV quoted him as saying.

According to the Turkish Foreign Minister, the process is going well, but there are still a number of difficulties that need clarification.

Cavusoglu added that there are more problems with Sweden than with Finland.

“Sweden is the country that needs to take more steps,” he concluded.

On November 8, Cavusoglu noted that Sweden and Finland have not yet fulfilled their obligations to join NATO.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recalled that the terms for Finland and Sweden to join NATO depend on the fulfillment by these countries of Ankara's requirements.
