They have been investigating a vast drug trafficking and money laundering operation in Morbihan for several months.
In recent days, the gendarmes of the Ploërmel company have taken action by arresting twelve individuals, indicates the departmental gendarmerie group on its Facebook page.
During the arrests, several kilos of drugs were seized as well as several thousand euros in cash.
The gendarmes and the investigators of the research unit of the Morbihan group, also got their hands on several large cars of the German brand as well as on luxury items.
Of the twelve individuals arrested, eleven of them, all adults, were brought before the courts.
Five were imprisoned in the process and the other six placed under judicial control.
