A competition horse breeder filed a complaint after the violent attack suffered by one of his foals on November 21 in Senots (Oise).

While in his enclosure, the one-year-old horse was targeted by two dogs and chased into the courtyard of a house, under the eye of CCTV cameras.

He was taken to a veterinarian in very serious condition and has had several surgeries since.

The latter had indeed affirmed that the attack on his foal had taken place under the eyes of the master of the "molossers", without his intervention.

He claims not to have attended the scene

“I do not dispute the bites but the fact of saying that we were present and that we did nothing, it is false and prejudicial”, thus declares daily the man who was in Senots for a lunch.

According to his testimony, he and his companion would have noticed that his dogs had disappeared and would have found them in the village, without having witnessed the attack.

They would then have brought the injured colt back to the Haras de Senots.

The owner of the dogs also explains that he tried to contact the breeder several times, without success.

He also ensures that his dogs are not categorized and therefore not considered dangerous.

An expert was nevertheless mandated by the Beauvais public prosecutor's office to verify this information.

An investigation has been opened for wandering animals.
