The body found in Novellara, in the Reggio area, was unearthed in the evening, which is presumed to belong to Saman, the 18-year-old Pakistani who has disappeared since 30 April 2021 and who was allegedly killed by her family, as reconstructed by the investigation by the Prosecutor's Office and the Reggio Carabinieri Emilia.
The body was buried about three meters deep under a layer of debris and rubble from the abandoned ruin.
The body was loaded into a half of the pallbearers and will now be taken to the University of Milan where the medico-legal checks will be carried out, entrusted by the Court of Assizes to the experts Cristina Cattaneo and Dominic Salsarola.
