"Koka björn" is the book inspired by Lars Levi Læstadius.

That particular factor, Mikael Niemi believes, was decisive for the series to be created.

- It's a legend that interests many and that we Norrbottians should be proud of.

I mean the northern bottom of the millennium he was appointed to, says the author.

Want to see spirituality straight through the window

It is the streaming giant Disney+ that broadcasts the series and the production company Anagram that produces the six episodes.

- They have given me a really good impression.

I hope that they will bring out the spirituality that is in the book also into the TV box, says Niemi.
