It is believed that the old handwritten music books come from Hinseberg's manor.

They were found in Lindesberg's cultural history archive by Sara Sporre.

Sara had previously heard a performance in Jämtland with old shilling prints, and got an idea to do something similar.

Some changes in the arrangement

The show, called "A year at Hinsan", is now staged in the machine hall at Frövifors paper mill museum.

But the musicians have made some changes to the arrangement, so it cannot be said to sound exactly like the original notes.

- We got hooked on this sheet music.

It's pretty much lounge music, for violin and piano.

But it's very mixed, says Anna Johansson, one of the musicians in Kapell Malén who has been commissioned to perform the songs.

Music and stories

The show is fictional and is about what may have happened in 1909 at Hinseberg's manor.

The music is mixed with stories from the past about what life at Hinseberg and in Bergslagen looked like in those days.
