Al-Sudani stresses the necessity of strengthening stability in the border areas with Iraq's neighboring countries

Today, Sunday, the Iraqi Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani, stressed the importance of addressing security files and strengthening stability and security in the border areas with neighboring countries, according to what was approved by the Ministerial Council for National Security in its last session.

This came during Al-Sudani's reception, today, the President of the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Nechirvan Barzani, according to the media office of the Prime Minister.

The office added, in a statement reported by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "the meeting witnessed a discussion of developments in the general situation, in its various security, political and service aspects at the national level.

The two sides also reviewed a number of important files and work frameworks between the federal government and the regional government, within the objectives of the ministerial curriculum seeking to improve the level of services throughout Iraq.
