A passenger car has gone into the ditch and into a tree.
The alarm about the accident happened shortly after 3 p.m., north of Smålandsstenar on road 26. According to the alarm to SOS, there was smoke coming from the car.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
According to the emergency management operator, the person was awake and able to speak.
The car is towed away.
The Swedish Transport Agency states that the accident has a small impact on traffic.
