Due to Covid-19, a Russian woman and her Chinese husband have been separated for three long years.

The couple met in China in 2018 and married the following year.

While the 30-year-old had returned alone to her family in Russia, her husband was to join her a few months later.

Unfortunately, he was prevented from doing so by the Covid-19 pandemic.

After three years of separation, the spouses were finally allowed to meet at the end of October.

This time it was the Russian who went to China.

But their reunion did not go as planned, indicates

The Independent

who spotted this dramatic story.

Only a few hours after seeing her husband again, the 30-year-old fell very ill.

While in the car alongside him, she began to have difficulty breathing.

Her spouse, who tells the story to the Chinese media, immediately transported her to the hospital located in Nanning, in the south of the country.

Unfortunately, she suffered a cardiac arrest due to a pulmonary embolism probably caused by the long plane trip.

The victim, who was already suffering from health problems, fell into a coma and could not be revived.

"I can really feel that my wife loved me so much that she chose to come to China to see me at the risk of losing her life," the husband said.
