Abdullah bin Zayed receives the Somali Foreign Minister
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received Absher Omar Jammeh, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Somalia.
During the meeting, which was held in Abu Dhabi, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations to serve the common interests of the two countries.
The two sides also discussed a number of issues of common concern and exchanged views on them.
His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan welcomed the visit of Absher Omar Jameh, stressing the fraternal relations between the two countries and the keenness to enhance cooperation paths in order to achieve their common interests and support efforts for peace, stability and development in brotherly Somalia.
For his part, Absher Omar Jameh affirmed his appreciation for the UAE's continuous support for Somalia and its people, expressing his wishes for the country to continue progress and prosperity.
He also affirmed his country's aspiration to strengthen relations of joint cooperation with the UAE in all fields, praising its leading position at the regional and international levels.
