The Ukrainian people deserve to live in friendship and good neighborliness with their Slavic brothers, so they will be freed from neo-Nazi rulers.

This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in an interview for the film "Nazism Under Investigation" to the TV channel "Russia 24".

“The Ukrainian people will be liberated from neo-Nazi rulers, they deserve to live in good neighborliness, friendship, prosperity next to their Slavic brothers,” Lavrov said.

He also emphasized that Nazism would not have become the theory and practice of the Kyiv regime without the influence of external forces.

According to him, Europe is part of the processes of the revival of neo-Nazism.

“We will not tolerate neo-Nazism on the territory of Ukraine.

We are fighting neo-Nazis, not Ukrainians, whom we have nothing against.

This is a people close and dear to us, with whom we are intertwined at the level of human destinies, millions of families with a huge number of ties, spiritual, cultural and other ties.

I am convinced that the Kyiv neo-Nazi authorities will not be able to undermine this genetic code, but we ourselves must do a lot, ”added the head of the foreign ministry.

Crimea

Vladimir Zelensky's plan to return Crimea is doomed to failure, Sergey Lavrov pointed out.

“Voicing the line that was carried out “hybridly” then, and now on the battlefield, Volodymyr Zelensky declares that they “will win this war and take all their lands,” including Crimea.

In doing so, he forgets the history of the peninsula.

Maybe he didn’t know her at all when he was “engaged” in the Club of the Funny and Resourceful.

I have no doubt that such a line will fail,” the Russian Foreign Minister emphasized.

Earlier, Vladimir Zelensky, in an interview with the Financial Times, said that he was not considering any decisions on the peninsula, including non-military ones, according to which Crimea would remain part of the Russian Federation.

In the Kremlin, the head of the Kyiv regime was told that Ukraine had not given up on trying to return the Crimean peninsula under its control by force, but for Russia "there can be no question" of alienating its territory.

Crimea became part of Russia following a referendum held in March 2014 - the majority of the inhabitants of the peninsula voted for reunification with Russia.

Subsequently, Russian officials repeatedly noted that the issue of Crimea's ownership was closed.

Western censorship

Western countries, primarily the United States, Germany, France, have demonstrated in recent years that they are well able to "line up" journalists, the media and ensure loyalty to the line that this or that government wants to pursue.

This opinion was expressed by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

He noted that in the United States under the administration of Joe Biden, the entire line of electronic media, television, print publications is aimed at mobilizing public opinion in support of what Washington is doing in Ukraine.

At the same time, in Germany and France, dissent in the media is "virtually absent."

“Europe, through various international structures, primarily created under the European Union, has been using outright censorship for more than a year (it started about eight years ago), preventing alternative points of view from penetrating the public consciousness on the continent,” the Russian minister explained.

As an example, he cited the situation when the RT channel and the Sputnik agency opened bureaus in Paris and attempted to obtain accreditation at the Elysee Palace, but were refused.

Along with this, various platforms are being established in Western countries, associations for the protection of freedom in cyberspace, the independence of the media, within which, as Lavrov noted, alternative sources of information were stifled under beautiful slogans.

“In 1990, within the framework of the OSCE, on the initiative of France and other Western states, a document was adopted obliging all members of the organization without exception to provide full access for their citizens to any sources of information both within the country and abroad.

Therefore, the refusal of RT and Sputnik in accreditation at the Elysee Palace is a gross violation of the obligations assumed 30 years ago at the initiative of the same France, ”the Russian Foreign Minister stated.
