Western campaigns

This comes as the Western media continues to level accusations and launch attacks on Qatar to the extent that prompted Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, to say that the campaign his country faced "was not faced by any other country that had the right to host this tournament."

Prior to the start of the tournament, FIFA President Gianni Infantino said during a press conference that the State of Qatar will organize the best version of the World Cup in history, and he responded strongly to the criticism leveled at it.

Politicians and experts in politics, media and sports unanimously agreed that the recent campaigns that seek to undermine Qatar's reputation and question its ability to organize a successful World Cup "are directed by parties and organizations that harbor hatred for the State of Qatar and its multiple successes, and seek to hide behind human rights files to achieve political goals."
