On the occasion of the international day against violence against women, Europe 1 met a mother of two whose violent husband, already sentenced, was released from prison and now lives without a bracelet.

The young woman tells how he continues to make life difficult for her on a daily basis.

To escape a violent husband, Morgane, 31 years old and two children, had no choice but to flee the marital home.

With Europe 1, the young woman tells how, despite his conviction, this man tries to maintain his hold on her.

"It was crazy love, and the first blows started when I got pregnant with my first child. After that, it was carnage," she says.

Europe 1 met her, while the fight against violence against women is in full light this November 25.

Morgane explains that she received "blows on the temples, in the ribs, on the legs. He was pulling my hair on the floor, he was trying to drown me in the shower, and from there he had strangled me that day."

A daily fear

The mother points out that her two children witnessed what she was going through.

"I saw them screaming, I preferred to go to the gendarmerie directly", affirms Morgane, who details that her violent husband was sentenced to 12 months in prison, without adjustment of sentence, but that he only did five months in jail.

"He had the right to the bracelet, and there, in September, it was taken away from him," she explains with concern.

"I don't feel safe because he never respected the fact of not getting in touch with me anymore," reports Morgane, who lists the man's various attempts at harassment.

"I received a WhatsApp call from him, I did not answer. I filed a complaint, but it did not help much. He hacks into my mailboxes and all my Internet accounts to tell me precisely ' you see I'm still here, I'm still bothering you, I won't let you go'."

A situation that has become very difficult to live with for the young mother.

"I turn around all the time, I look to the right, to the left, in the cars. I am very afraid. My entourage is also very afraid for me because I know that one day he will be there", fears the mother of two children.
