A man was stabbed to death and three others were injured this evening in via San Domenico, in the historic center of Caltanissetta.
According to an initial reconstruction by the carabinieri, the murder would have occurred at the height of a dispute.
The victim is Marcello Tortorici, 51, who died at the Sant'Elia hospital immediately after being admitted.
One of the wounded, hit with a blow to the armpit, was transported in red code to the emergency room and is in serious condition.
On the spot, the carabinieri are questioning some people in an attempt to reconstruct the dynamics of the stabbing.
The police also intervened in the hospital to calm spirits after the disturbances created by the relatives of the protagonists of the bloody episode who broke into the emergency room.
