There are earrings that never let go, and Anita Lindblom's song "That's life" definitely belongs to them.

It belongs to the general education for the country's pensioners, and is perfect when a newly formed senior choir is to make its first recording in the studio.

- It was an experience, and turned out much better than we thought it would be, says Stig Söderlund.

He has never set foot in a studio before, and says that the singing voice disappeared when he was in the goal breach.

However, he is in good company, and when he and all the other singers jam, the studio gets pressured.

- That was power, says recording technician Mattias Green.

Behind today's recording is the organization Frivilligcentralen in Eskilstuna, which regularly organizes activities for seniors.

The idea is to counteract involuntary loneliness among the elderly, but also to offer community and new experiences.

That's what Anna Lybeck, activity fixer at the Volunteer Centre, thinks.

- For many, it was the first time in their lives that they dared to do something like a recording.

It has been fantastic, she says.

Come along to the Balsta music castle when the seniors record Anita Lindblom's old hit "That's how life is".
