International Day against Gender Violence

has been celebrated with different marches throughout Spain, in which the different sensibilities of the feminist movement have been evidenced.

In Madrid, for example, two separate marches have been held: in one of them, attended by several PSOE ministers, the resignation of Irene Montero has been called for.

In another, on the other hand, support for the head of Equality has been expressed.

Hundreds of people, more than a thousand according to the organizers, have joined the demonstration in Madrid called by the

Feminist Movement of Madrid

that started after 6:30 p.m. at the confluence of Gran Vía and Alcalá streets and in which they were able to hearing shouts of "Here we are, the feminists" and "Irene Montero, resign" in the presence of several PSOE ministers.

Presided over by a banner with the slogan "Machismo kills, rapes, exploits and erases women. Enough Ya!", the protesters also carried banners with other themes such as "I don't want to feel brave when I go out, I want to feel free". or "With our Iranian sisters."

In addition, to chant the dismissal of the minister, which has been answered with booing by people who were watching the march, a large banner with the same motto has also been seen during the tour.
