The Grand Mufti of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Ahmed bin Hamad Al Khalili, directed a "greeting of respect and reverence" to the State of Qatar, against the background of some of the decisions and initiatives it is currently taking on the sidelines of the World Cup.
And Sheikh Al-Khalili tweeted on his Twitter account, saying, "We salute the sisterly State of Qatar, a greeting of greatness and reverence, for its refusal to raise slogans of the most obscene vice that Sharia disapproves of, nature is disgusted with, and normal instinct is repulsed by it."
