“In the Krasnolimansky direction, an attempt to advance a company tactical group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack in the direction of the Chervonopopovka settlement of the Lugansk People’s Republic was thwarted by a preemptive fire defeat,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
