It hasn't been long since naked kimchi and cabbage with cigarette butts gave a shock, and food hygiene controversy has erupted again in China.

A video of making pickled vegetables in Anhui Province has been uploaded on Chinese social media.

After digging a hole in the ground and covering it with plastic, vegetables such as cabbages are put in and salt is sprinkled on it. But right next to the pit, a pile of dirt is piled up, and the workers are working in everyday shoes.

As the video spread, criticism poured out, saying that it is food that people eat, but that they do this with shoes on the ground.

The Chinese authorities confirmed that this video was true and said that they would deal with it legally if it was confirmed that it was circulated on the market.

As much as Chinese kimchi is easily accessible in Korea, there are voices of concern, but it is said that the possibility of such pickled vegetables being exported to Korea is low.
