USÖ, the university hospital in Örebro, has had problems with the work environment for a long time.

This has led, among other things, to moving up to staff status, now in December 2021 at the latest.

In addition, staff have resigned, resulting in 1,300 vacant shifts during the previous summer.

Then the Swedish Work Environment Authority demanded measures for the staff in the emergency room.

These would have been resolved during the previous spring and summer.

The administrative court has been connected

But despite the warning, the situation has not improved.

According to the Swedish Work Environment Authority, the operation is understaffed, with staff leaving and tasks being added to those who remain as a result.

That is why they are now in the Administrative Court, which will decide whether Region Örebro must pay a fine, reports P4 Örebro.
