Gargash: The UAE's goal in the next 50 years is clear and embodied in its positions

The Diplomatic Adviser to His Highness the President of the State, Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, affirmed that the basis of the UAE's foreign policy is the call for dialogue and negotiations to resolve all differences, and to promote the agenda of peace, peace and stability in the world, by working with regional partners and global friends.

During a key session he presented on the first day of the annual meetings of the UAE government, he reviewed the global geopolitical scene and its impact on the location of the UAE, where he said: The UAE's goal in the next 50 years is clear, and it is embodied in its regional and global stances and movements. Politics is in the service of the economy... and economic prosperity is reflected in providing a better life for peoples.

He pointed out that the UAE believes that good neighborliness is the basis for stability, so it has pursued the path of communication and dialogue with all parties, and is working to develop stable and positive political, economic and popular relations with the surroundings, to enhance its security and stability and continue its comprehensive development, and out of concern for the security and prosperity of the region.

He said, "The UAE adopts the strengthening of Arab and regional cooperation and coordination, and joint action, to stop the region's association with crises, which is reflected in stability and guarantees a prosperous future for all the peoples of the region."

He added, "The UAE was able, with a group of Arab brothers, to establish an Arab nucleus with weight and an ambitious vision, to protect its political and geographical space from any negative effects or repercussions, and to preserve and consolidate the national gains of its countries, and it is aware of the challenges the world is going through, and is able to develop its vision for a solution." Many conflicts and tensions in the region ».

He stressed the need for the region to adopt economic integration projects, noting the tripartite agreement between the UAE, Egypt and Jordan to enhance integration in the industrial field, especially as the international system sets new priorities, including issues of climate change, food security, health and technology at the forefront of its concerns, and humanity is currently in a real test to confront climate change. and enhancing food security.

He pointed out that the international system today is witnessing changes characterized by struggle for influence and polarization, a situation imposed by the challenges the world is going through, and paralysis in its mechanisms to maintain peace and stability.

Gargash touched on the Ukrainian crisis, and said that it "threatens various regions of the world, and our region is part of this world, and the political, economic and security effects of the war do not stop at the borders of a specific country, but rather affect all countries."

He pointed out that the UAE, under the leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” is making constructive, important and continuous endeavors and efforts to reduce escalation around the world, and participate in finding political solutions to crises by promoting dialogue and communication and seeks to strengthen its network of relations. with all countries.
