Helene Wish Persson was for many years the frontman of the popular orchestra Helene and the gang and has long worked as a presenter on Sveriges Radio.

She and Lotta Idoffson first met over 30 years ago.

- We have followed each other through life.

In joy and sorrow.

There has been love, children, weddings, divorces and deaths.

And we have made music together and Lotta jumped in as a singer in Helene and the gang when I was on maternity leave, she says.

"Hard working woman"

When Helene Wish Persson led P4 Dans on Sunday, she was reached by the death notice and then decided to honor her friend with the song "What do we do now with all our dreams?"

- which was recorded by Lotta and her since-deceased husband Marcus Idoffson in connection with Berth Idoff's comeback in the 2000s.

- Lotta was a hard-working woman and together with Marcus she gave Berth Idoffs a new look.

They were werewolves, they toiled and fought.

That Lotta Idoffson lost both her life partner Marcus and her father-in-law Berth Idoff Johansson in the space of just two days in 2018 was a heavy sadness to bear and handle, says Helene Wish Persson.

- She had so much left to do in life, but I hope that there is an afterlife and that she and Marcus can shine together and play together among the angels instead.
