Seven people became victims of a fire in a two-story brick warehouse building on Moscow's Komsomolskaya Square, news agencies report, citing representatives of emergency services.

“The death of seven people has been confirmed,” RIA Novosti said in a statement.

According to preliminary data, six Russians and one citizen of Tajikistan were among the dead.

On the afternoon of November 20, a fire broke out at the address: Komsomolskaya Square, 1a, building 18. The building housed a flower warehouse.

121 personnel of the Moscow Emergency Ministry were involved in extinguishing the fire, 42 pieces of equipment were involved, as well as a fire train.

Northern transport prosecutor Vadim Kursov went to the place of emergency to coordinate the activities of special services and law enforcement agencies, the press service of the Moscow Interregional Transport Prosecutor's Office reported.
