On October 28, supermodel Gisele Bündchen (42) and American football star Tom Brady (45)
announced their divorce.
After 13 years of marriage and two children together, they both decided to sign the papers
that declared them ex-husband and ex-wife in a discreet and friendly way.
However, after several weeks without knowing new details about their state of mind and their separate lives, what was once a media couple has unexpectedly made headlines again.
According to US media reports, Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen
have only donated 0.8% of their fortune after years of announcing various solidarity actions.
The Brazilian model founded her own NGO in 2007, named the Luz Foundation and co-chaired with her then-husband. This organization
claimed to offer opportunities to girls in exclusion and contribute to humanitarian causes
.
In 2020, she would create another entity called Luz Alliance Found,
whose mission was to help poor families in Brazil
during the Covid-19 crisis.

However, now data has come to light that
is not entirely convincing about the solidarity of the Bündchen-Brady couple.
Some donations made between 2007 and 2019 have turned out to be, considering the couple's economy and the publicity they received through the media, very modest.
During this time, they donated $640,402 to different causes
when the couple's fortune is estimated at $700 million.

The couple has always claimed to have a great commitment to the environment,
environmentalism and human rights.

But what is most striking is that a large part of its liquidity has flowed into meditation centers or yoga schools.
In 2019, they
donated $80,000 to Pointing Out the Great Way Foundation,
an organization that promotes Indo-Tibetan meditation in Massachusetts.
Another yoga school in the same state that received aid was Go Girl Yoga, which received $25,000.
Brady and Bündchen have also supported film director
David Lynch, who owns a meditation foundation named after him.
"I know what people think: 'This girl is just posing for pictures.' But in my head, I think all the time:
'Okay, if I take this job then I'll have more money to invest in this project.' So that's It's what I'm doing", said the

Gisele Bündchen continues to run her NGO today.
