Al-Jazeera correspondent in Palestine reported that a special force of the Israeli occupation forces withdrew from the town of Jaba, south of Jenin, in the occupied West Bank, after discovering Palestinian gunmen and clashing with them late on Sunday evening.

Clashes also broke out between the Palestinians and the occupation forces in the town of Jabal al-Mukaber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.

The reporter pointed out that armed clashes broke out between Palestinians and an Israeli special force that infiltrated the town of Jaba' late Sunday evening.

The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) said that the occupation forces set up a military checkpoint tonight at the entrance to the town of Jaba, impeded the movement of Palestinian citizens, and stormed the town of Silat al-Dhahr.

In another development, clashes broke out between the Palestinians and the occupation forces, on Sunday evening, in Jabal al-Mukaber, southeast of occupied Jerusalem.

Palestinian platforms, quoting local sources, reported that the clashes erupted after the occupation forces stormed the town amidst rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas canisters, without any injuries reported.
