People killed in an armed attack on an Iraqi army barracks in Kirkuk

Today, Saturday, an Iraqi security source said that four members of the army were killed in an attack by ISIS elements in Kirkuk Governorate.

The Iraqi website "Al-Sumaria News" today quoted the source as saying that "ISIS elements launched an armed attack at dawn today on an Iraqi army barracks within the Dibis district in the Kirkuk governorate."

He added, "The exposure resulted in the killing of four soldiers from the Iraqi army," pointing out that "ISIS terrorist elements stole the pagers, the soldiers' phones, and their weapons."

The source indicated that "the commander of the operations of the advanced headquarters went to the scene of the accident and led a military inspection operation in search of the terrorist elements.
