Netanyahu: Erdogan agrees to resume relations between Israel and Turkey

Israel and Turkey agreed today, Thursday, to resume relations again, according to the office of Israeli Prime Minister-designate Benjamin Netanyahu.

Thursday's statement indicated that relations could continue to improve under Netanyahu.


Netanyahu's office announced that the two leaders pledged to cooperate and communicate again, during a phone call between them on Thursday.

"The two leaders agreed to work together to usher in a new era of relations between Turkey and Israel," the statement from Netanyahu's office added.
