The bill provides for the early (five years earlier) appointment of an old-age insurance pension to war veterans: men who have reached the age of 60 (instead of 65) and women who have reached the age of 55 (instead of 60), if they have an insurance record of at least 15 years ( instead of 25 for men and 20 for women).

“Thus, it seems fair and justified to enshrine in federal law No. 400-FZ the right to grant veterans of military operations an old-age insurance pension before reaching the generally established retirement age if they have at least 15 years of insurance experience.

It is also proposed to reduce the amount of insurance experience required for the right to early appointment of an insurance pension in relation to disabled military injuries, ”the explanatory note says.

Nilov also recalled that at present, disabled people due to military trauma have the right to early appointment of an insurance pension: men who have reached the age of 55, women who have reached the age of 50, if they have an insurance record of at least 25 and 20 years, respectively.

The bill will be submitted to the State Duma on November 16.

Earlier, State Duma deputy Ivan Sukharev proposed doubling the maximum amount of insurance compensation on deposits for combat veterans to 2.8 million rubles.
