A 25-year-old rider died during a show jumping competition.
The accident occurred last Sunday, late morning, at the Maisons-Laffitte racecourse (Yvelines).
According to information from 78 Actu, the young woman would have fallen with her horse on the course.
The animal would have found itself lying on it and, while getting up, would have struck the head of the victim with one of its hooves.

But despite their efforts, the young woman, victim of internal bleeding, succumbed to her injuries.
His death was pronounced shortly before 1 p.m., according to the Ile-de-France daily.
