Three men tried in Melun for having terrorized and robbed families

From this Monday, three men appear before the Assize Court of Seine-et-Marne, in Melun, for acts of extortion with a weapon and kidnapping.

The defendants, aged 27 to 32, are suspected of having committed five particularly violent attacks in 2019 in the departments of Seine-et-Marne, Oise and Yvelines;

Victims threatened with handguns

Each time, the victims were surprised in their homes and threatened with handguns, knives or a tear gas canister.

The criminals attacked them to steal their bank cards with the codes;

money or valuables.

Some families have also been sequestered in their homes so that the attackers can flee.

The trial of these three men is scheduled to take place throughout the week.
