Milan gained 0.58%, Paris 0.31%, Frankfurt + 0.62% and London - the best - snatched 0.92%.

 The first day of placement of the new BTP Italia aimed at retail ends with 3.18 billion subscriptions.

The spread between the Italian BTP and the German Bund closed slightly down to 203 basis points (yield 4.19%).

 On the Amsterdam market, natural gas rose sharply (+ 17%) to 114.75 euros per megawatt hour.

 Wall Street meanwhile continues to move mixed, with the Nasdaq down and the Dow Jones up 0.27%.
