The American billionaire and owner of the Twitter platform, Elon Musk, turned to Google for instant translation to respond to an Arab tweet;

Which led him to a linguistic error, and instead of telling him “I will” or “We will,” he said, “You will.”

Will do

— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) November 12, 2022

The story began when Musk posted on his Twitter account a tweet that included emojis, in reference to several recent reforms in Twitter, which gained wide attention by his followers.

One of the Arab content creators - whose account goes by the name "Thenayan" - responded to Musk's tweet saying, "As for the Arabic hashtags, they are still full of random tweets. Every time I see a hashtag that tops in Arabic I can't find any original or meaningful tweets, they are full Ads and spam, please fix it.”

Musk was forced to respond to "Thunayan" in Arabic, to confirm his intention to fix the problem of "electronic flies" in spams via Twitter.

Musk's tweet and the error it contained in the Arabic language made him subject to sarcasm and ridicule from some Twitter activists, especially Arabs, noting that the American billionaire resorted to using Google's instant translation service to write it.

Try not to use Google translate next time😂 https://t.co/izXd3d3mTU

"Try not to use the Google Translate service next time," technical developer Qusai Ammar said - via his Twitter account - sarcastically.

And the tweeter, Hamad Al-Ajmi, mocked Mask, "Elon Mask speaks Arabic... he responds to a person who asked him to solve the problem of electronic flies in the Arab hashtags."

The Arab singer Jassim (Dinar) Dashti also deplored Musk's mistake, saying, "He says you will.. We need to fix your translation first from the Google application.. Mr. Elon Musk. Say: I will do and do not say: You will."

He says you will...

We need to fix @Google translate first.

The tweeter, Mazen, responded to Jassem, stressing that Musk did not make a mistake and that he meant that the service “will be activated” by adding the t and putting an intensity on the letter “Ain.”

phantom interaction

Far from being wrong, other tweeters interacted with Mask's sudden tweet in Arabic, and stressed the need to get rid of the phenomenon of fake interaction through Arab trends.

Saudi blogger Mohammed bin Turki commented - via his Twitter account - saying, "Finally, we will be able to watch the hashtag without ads. We will say goodbye to fake voting, fake tweets and fake views."

The tweeter Falah Al-Tikriti praised Musk's effectiveness and interest in responding to everything, saying, "Any company owner, he must be interactive, read everything and respond to the important! At least what happens to some people, when the idea is presented to him, he tells you where for a long time?"

Any company owner, he must be interactive, read everything and respond to the important!

At least what happens to some people, when the idea is presented to him, he says to you, "Where have you been for a long time?"

And you have been profligate about it a trillion times and he is attentive to you.
