According to SVT's Russia correspondent, there have been some minor protests against the withdrawal to the other side of the Dnieper River, but far from everyone seems to be committed to the issue.

On state Russian television, flattering comments are heard that it was necessary to save lives.

Anger in Moscow

During Saturday, a demonstration was also held in Moscow by outraged voices, who demanded that nuclear-armed cruise missiles be sent against the United States and Washington, reports Sveriges Radio's Russia correspondent Maria Persson Löfgren.

- Everything to avenge Kherson and what is now the main enemy the USA, which is considered to be using Ukraine to crush Russia, says Maria Persson Löfgren.

In the lead was Yevgeny Fyodorov, member of the Russian Duma.

At the same time, there have been countless arrests around Russia since the invasion began on February 24.

Over 19,000 Russians have so far been arrested in connection with anti-war protests and mobilization, according to the independent site OVD-Info.
