Olaf Scholz strongly condemned Tehran's crackdown.

The German chancellor supported the demonstrators: "

We stand with the Iranian people

" and rejected the threats of the Iranian foreign minister against Germany.

Berlin is in the front line in the measures that the international community wants to adopt against the leaders of Tehran.

This applies to the new sanctions that the European Union wants to adopt on Monday.

Berlin even wanted to go further and place the Revolutionary Guards, the armed wing of the regime, on the list of terrorist organizations.

Germany has seized with Iceland the United Nations Human Rights Council which cannot adopt sanctions, but condemn the violence and launch an investigation.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock has been attacked by name by Tehran, which accuses her of “

”.

Germany asked its nationals to leave Iran last week.
