  Xing Haiming said that China and South Korea are not only close neighbors that cannot be moved away, but also like-minded confidants, partners with integrated interests and friends who are in the same boat.

With the joint efforts of both sides, China-ROK relations have entered a new and higher stage of development, ushering in important development opportunities to build on the past and usher in the future.

Xing Haiming emphasized that over the years, China has joined hands with many countries to build the "Belt and Road" and has achieved fruitful results, and companies from various countries, including Korean companies, have gained tangible benefits.

  Ban Ki-moon said that over the past 30 years, the relations between South Korea and China have continued to develop, and economic and trade cooperation has yielded fruitful results. Last year, the bilateral trade volume exceeded 360 billion US dollars.

It is hoped that the two sides will continue to maintain mutual understanding and respect, strengthen personnel exchanges, expand mutual benefit and win-win results, and jointly embrace the next three decades of prosperity and development between South Korea and China.

  Li Xianhu said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and South Korea have carried out a lot of practical cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, science and technology, and environmental protection.
