  The Lufeng section of West Yunnan Road is located in Lufeng City. It was built by successive dynasties on the basis of the "Southern Silk Road", the "Five-foot Road" in the Qin and Han Dynasties, and the "Shimen Road" in the Tang Dynasty more than 2,300 years ago.

The "Shimen Road" was built in the Tang Dynasty, and there were Longhe Pavilion (now Lianxiang Pass at Yaozhan Station) and Shaye Pavilion (now Shezi) in Lufeng.
