Russian Armed Forces thwarted the attack of two reinforced platoons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Krasnolimansky direction

This was informed by the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Lieutenant-General Igor Konashenkov.

According to the defense department, the Armed Forces of Ukraine tried to attack in the direction of Stelmakhivka and Ploshchanka (LPR).

As a result of the fire damage, the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost up to 70 soldiers killed and wounded, one infantry fighting vehicle and three pickup trucks, Konashenkov added.

The day before, it was reported that Russian troops repelled the attacks of seven companies and a battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Luhansk People's Republic, destroying about 160 Ukrainian soldiers.
