Two men were knocked down by a car in front of a nightclub, on the night of Saturday to last Sunday, in Beauvais (Oise).

The first victim was thrown backwards after being hit by the car.

Witnessing the scene, his brother tried to stop the vehicle by standing in front of him.

He was "hit and dragged for about thirty meters under the vehicle while holding on to the license plate", indicated the parquet floor of Beauvais to our colleagues.

Injured, the two victims were prescribed five days of ITT.

On remand

An investigation has been opened.

According to the driver, a brawl would have broken out a little earlier in the nightclub.

He also reportedly noticed damage to his car.

The man, who was drunk and driving without a license at the time, was indicted.

He was remanded in custody on Monday.
