Deputy head of the administration of the Kherson region Kirill Stremousov died in an accident.

This information was confirmed by the acting governor of the Kherson region Vladimir Saldo.

“It is very hard for me to say that Kirill Stremousov died today.

He died on the territory of the Kherson region, moving in a car that got into an accident,” Saldo said during a video message.

According to a RIA Novosti source, Kirill Stremousov died in an accident with a truck.

It is believed that the driver of the truck was responsible for the accident.

He made a dangerous maneuver, and Stremousov's driver lost control, trying to avoid a collision, the agency notes.

According to the acting head of the region, Stremousov has always been a sincere person.

“He was on the front line, he was in the rear.

He visited both the territory of the region and Kherson itself.

And wherever he appeared, he spoke clearly and sincerely about what was happening, ”said Saldo.

He announced his intention to help the Stremousov family, which has five children and is expecting a sixth.

Kirill Stremousov was born in 1976 near Donetsk.

Graduated from Western Ukrainian National University.

Later he was engaged in business, and also worked as the head of the marine inspection of the Sea of ​​\u200b\u200bAzov.

After the coup in Ukraine in 2014, Stremousov became the organizer of a series of rallies against the Euromaidan.

In March 2022, after the start of the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, he co-founded the Rescue Committee for Peace and Order.

At the end of April 2022, Stremousov took over as deputy chairman of the military-civilian administration of the Kherson region.

On September 28, he received a Russian passport.

During the special operation in Ukraine, Stremousov regularly published messages on his Telegram channel with up-to-date information about the situation in the Kherson region.

In particular, on the morning of November 9, Stremousov posted two detailed messages about the situation on the line of contact in the Kherson region.

According to him, the attempts of the Ukrainian troops to attack the region were successfully repelled, the Armed Forces of Ukraine suffered losses.

Acting head of the DPR Denis Pushilin noted that Stremousov led a popular movement on the way to Kherson region becoming a subject of the Russian Federation.

“He left behind a good memory and entered the history of Russia forever as a true patriot, a man of honor and deeds.

In turn, the head of the Crimea, Sergei Aksyonov, called the death of Stremousov an irreparable loss.

“He was a real fighter, a patriot of Russia, an honest and courageous person,” the head of the region wrote on Telegram.

The Governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, also noted Stremousov's patriotism.

“He was a true patriot of Russia, brave and courageous, he remained in touch in any situation and considered it his duty to inform the residents of the Kherson region about what was happening,” he wrote on Telegram.

Acting head of the Zaporozhye region Yevgeny Balitsky said that Stremousov remained in the ranks until the last minute.
