Today, the United States goes to the polls to vote for all seats in the House of Representatives and in the Senate, but also governors and a variety of other local offices in the mid-term elections.

It is the first major election in the country since Joe Biden was named president in 2020, after which Donald Trump spread allegations of widespread voter fraud.

These accusations have later been proven wrong.

Despite this, polls show that a third of Americans doubt that the last presidential election was fair.

Among Republicans, that figure is as much as 70 percent.
