According to reports, Nikiforov said Zelensky "will be participating in some form", adding that it is likely to appear online.
Russia has not yet commented on the matter.
Zelensky said on the 3rd that if Russian President Vladimir Putin attended the G20, he would not participate.
Earlier, the Russian President's press secretary said on the 7th that Putin will make a decision this week whether to participate in the meeting.
