It was on Tuesday afternoon, shortly before 5 p.m., that a man in his 20s was shot in Bäckby.
The injured person was taken to hospital but later died of his injuries.
Five people have now been arrested on suspicion of being involved in the shooting.
- The investigation has led to today's crackdown and the arrested persons are suspected of involvement in the murder.
The investigation is now moving forward and by Friday at the latest I will take a decision on whether any of the people should be remanded in custody, says District Attorney Karolin Hellsberg, who leads the preliminary investigation.
Three of the people are on probable grounds suspected of murder, the other two are reasonable suspects.
According to the police, the people arrested are two teenage boys and the other three are younger men.
Since earlier, two women have been arrested on suspicion of involvement in the murder.
They are released but still suspected of crimes.
