Abdullah bin Zayed meets Tunisian Prime Minister on the sidelines of COP27

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, met with Tunisian Prime Minister Najla Bouden Ramadan, on the sidelines of the 27th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change "COP27", which is being held in Sharm El Sheikh, Arab Republic of Egypt .

During the meeting, the two sides discussed brotherly relations between the UAE and the Republic of Tunisia and ways to enhance and develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries in all fields.

His Highness and the Tunisian Prime Minister also reviewed a number of files on the agenda of COP27, in addition to the UAE's preparations to host COP28 in Dubai Expo next year.

In this regard, His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stressed the importance of COP27 in strengthening global efforts to confront climate change and increasing reliance on renewable and clean energy to stimulate sustainable economic growth in all societies.

His Highness also expressed his pride in the UAE-Tunisian brotherly relations and his wishes for Tunisia and its brotherly people stability, development and prosperity.

His Highness stressed the need to work on more partnerships between the two countries.
